Notes from KMIP interop call, April 6

Here are my summary notes from today's
interop call. Please let me know of any additions/corrections you might
have.

Attending: Mathias, Bruce, Krishna (IBM),
John (HP), Shyam (EMC), Paul (SafeNet)

Implementation Updates:
- IBM server updated, deploying another
instance (alongside the current version) with latest updates, will send
connection details and list of changes once firewall port is opened
- SafeNet will test their updated client
once an updated server is available
- EMC client hopefully ready to be tested
against HP, IBM servers at the end of next week, server will take a bit
longer due to approval processes for setting up server, opening firewall
ports etc
- EMC will let HP, IBM know once client
is ready to be tested, will get connection details (IP, port, self-signed
private/public key and certificate needed to connect and authenticate using
TLS)


Possible Key Mgmt Summit KMIP interop
demo:
- Participation not looking so good
at the moment for SafeNet, might be able to turn it around if someone (IBM
and/or HP) gives thumbs up that they will participate
- No update from IBM or HP
