Notes from KMIP interop call, April 13

Here are my summary notes from today's interop call. Please let me know
of any additions/corrections you might have.

Attending: Mathias, Bruce, Krishna, John (IBM), John (HP), Shyam (EMC),
Alan (SafeNet)


Implementation Updates:

- IBM server updated, no client tests yet

- EMC client supporting first two use cases, will be contacting IBM and
HP to get server connection details within the next few days; server not
available yet
- No updates from the HP side


Technical Issues:
- No "end-of-stream" characters
should be sent by the client after the request message itself; the server
should parse the first few bytes and read the length of the request message
to determine how many more bytes to read from the input stream

Other:
- Next week's call (April 20) will be
canceled
