information sharing
What is the collective view on the sharing of detailed information about the status of interop testing? How "open" is the testing meant to be? As I've only recently started performing testing against various implementations and I've been directly logging issues with the respective vendors rather than sending information to the somewhat wider list and I haven't been reporting any status. My client code can pretty much execute the entire use case test suite against any server that I have the details for as I've automatically parsed the use case document into a data driven test driver - so figuring out the status of conformance to the use case document is fairly simple. The use case document does not contain any test cases for incorrect information or usual messages - and I've been seeing varying responses then things don't exactly match the use case document. What languages are various implementations being handled in? I'm working in a C based environment as that matches what I need to interface with. So far I've only seen mention of java based implementations. Thanks, Tim. /
