Attached is a jpg file showing the financial status of the LegalXML
Member section at the end of February for use at our meeting tomorrow.
As customary, please treat the information as confidential.

Due to last minute developments, there will be a new item under "New
Business" concerning the consultant fees for the CourtFiling TC that
were approved last month. As Chair, I will entertain a motion to take
this item out of order. 

I may get this wrong and please bear with me if I do. It appears that
there may been some faulty communication between Maricopa County and
the TC concerning the procedure to be followed in the selection process
of a contractor to implement the testing of ECF 3.x by Maricopa County.
Apparently Maricopa County will bid the contract out itself and pay the
contractor itself, thus obviating the need for the TC to provide the
funding that we approved last month. A report of the matter will be
made to the SC by John Greacen including a decision of the TC with
respect to the role of MTG, the contractor who was originally selected
by the TC as its consultant.  MTG's status as the TC's consultant is to
remain unaffected, even if it is unpaid for Maricopa County (by the TC)
but concern was expressed that this be communicated to Maricopa County
and others in a way that will not appear to give MTG a stronger hand in
the Maricopa County selection process or other similar implementation
situations than the other potential candidates, which could be mistaken
as meddling by OASIS in the affairs of others. 

Jim Cabral may choose to participate in the discussion notwithstanding
his earlier abstention from voting last month because of a conflict of
interest with regard to his roles on the SC and that of his company as
the chosen consultant for pay from OASIS, unless there is good cause to
preclude his participation or objection from a member of the SC on the
grounds of conflict of interest notwithstanding the new circumstances.
