Dear colleagues,

As a new chair, I propose that the TC does two things this year.

1) Errata

There are some errata issues for the RELAX NG specification.  
Easy ones do not require any phone conferences.  E-mail voting 
should be good enough.  I will write more about this in a separate 
mail.

Errata for the compact syntax are more difficult.  I propose to 
start to handle them in October.  The reason is that the compact 
syntax is expected to become a Draft Amendment at ISO/IEC SC34 
in September.  It is already a Proposed Draft Amendment, and is 
under ballot.  James is expected to create a DAM in October.

2) Media type

I propose to register a media type for the RELAX NG compact 
syntax under the vendor tree rather than the IETF tree.  It 
should not be difficult.  A short informational RFC and registration 
request should be good enough.  (We can even skip the RFC, but I 
think that it is useful for implementors.)
