Subject: RE: [tgf] FW: Invitation to Submit Extended Paper to Transforming Government: People, Process & Policy John As ever, the academinc journals want a whole bunch of academic literature review doing before they will publish anything on the TGF, which none of has have the time or resources to do. Seems to me that we need to find a post-graduate student who is interested in researching this as area as part of a thesis. I for one would be willing to put time into helping steer and QA their work, as I'm sure would other TC members. It would be a very interesting research project: · reviewing the state of the art in academic research on ICT-enabled change in the public sector · case studying the TGF as a major pratitioner-led framework for best practice in this area, and positioning it against the academic viewpoints · setting out implications and recommendations for a future research agenda by universities in a way which gives further underpining and enhancement to the TGF. While it's not going to help with this particular opportunity, it would be worth seeing if we can identify someone to address this as a longer term issue. As you can see from below the organisers are now asking for significant changes to be made to it so that it can be published in their regular magazine. The changes they are asking for are beyond me so do any of you have access to any resource that could take my document and adapt it as requested below? If not then we will have to forego the publication offer which would be an opportunity missed. John

Workshop 2012, has been identified for consideration to be published in the upcoming regular issue of the Transforming Government: People, Process & Policy (TG: PPP) .
Please carefully extend and revise your manuscript by focusing on but not limited to: · thorough literature review that critically explores the normative works on the area of e-Government; · synthesizing research whereby you compare and contrast views drawn from the literature; · provide an in-depth research methodology that explores the research strategies and methods used to collect your empirical findings (including an overall research design diagrammatically); · provide research implications (theory, practice and society), limitations and future recommendation, into your final manuscript.
· offer conclusions and NOT a summary Please submit your final manuscript based on a detailed response to each of the above points to  .
Upon your modifications of your manuscript, I will notify you of the final decision of your paper.
Remember, this paper needs to be SIGNIFICANTLY different from the paper that will be published in the t-Gov 2012 Proceedings (for copyright reasons).
I will need to receive a revised manuscript NO LATER than 1 st June 2012 and expect to make a prompt decision.
