so I would suggest that we adopt the ROP according to the usual OASIS procedures.
From a voting perspective, I would conclude that the member section SC elections should be similar to OASIS board elections - individuals are elected, but companies vote. This would be in line for me with companies dedicating some of their OASIS fees to the member section.
Does that make sense to you?

Karl,

Our goal is to cover the eventuality that a rep to the SC leaves, and an
alternate is a clean way to cover that.

If we changed  the selection process for the alternate from being
appointed to being elected, would tht address your concerns?
