Please defer discussions on this issue until a time this

Description:

The current specification defines a binding of the protocol
in an ad-hoc mode in Section 2.4 Protocol Assignments. However there is no
binding defined for the managed mode to communicate with discovery proxy.

 

Proposed Resolution:

There should be a protocol assignment/binding defined for
the managed mode. This would serve as the basis for the mechanism to
communicate with Discovery Proxy.

 

Section 2.4 should define assignments for both ad-hoc and
managed mode. For the ad-hoc mode it will the IP multicast binding using SOAP
over UDP as per the current specification and for the managed mode it will be
SOAP over HTTP as defined in the SOAP 1.2 specification. 

 

These protocol assignments should be referenced when
describing binding specific requirements.
