I agree. This shd be the responsibility of the
editors.
We don't need an issue that says "use correct
English".
Similarly, we don't need an issue "use correct
XML".

Why is this a new issue?
Do you have examples as to where we currently have not
well formed XML in the current wds? If so, could you inform the editors
mailing list where those are.
Instead of a new issue, I prefer creating an
editorial task that needs to kick in everytime we publish the
specs externally and this can be taken care of within the editors to do
list instead of taking the TCs time.
Otherwise, we will not be able to close this
issue until we close shop ;-)
